The film can be enjoyed by anyone, provided the chapters are well-chosen. There are 9 chapters, each 13 minutes long. Chapters 3-4, 5-6 and 7-8 are double chapters, but apart from that, they are more or less independent of each other.
Total running time: 117 minutes. In broad terms, the level of mathematics in the chapters increases gradually through the chapters.
Hipparchus is the first hero of our story, but we must not take what he says too literally! He claims to have been the inventor of both geography and astronomy. This seems a bit exaggerated; who could really lay claim to this? Haven't travelers always described their voyages, and shepherds always gazed at the stars? It is extremely rare that a single individual invents an entire science. Nevertheless, let us pay homage to Hipparchus as one of the greatest sages of antiquity.
